On a Personal Note

As the founder of Mourning Dove Preservation I’d like to share with you reason I started this service.

I began my own search of family roots over 25 years ago. As an infant of one year I lost both of my parents. Their untimely and tragic deaths left my three older brothers and me not only orphaned but with a legacy of questions. When I could not get the answers to what had happened to my mother and father, I set out to find out the truth on my own. That first trip to the library archives in my small town changed the course of my life forever.

I went on to become an archaeologist and a historian, combining both my desire to uncover the past with a way in which to document my findings. Through my education, training and experience I have the skills, tools, professionalism, and most of all, curiosity to find your familial connection so you may offer it to your succeeding generations. I promise, once you peek into your ancestral past you'll discover so many things about yourself and your history, you will be delighted.

Thank you for allowing me along on this most wonderful journey.
